Deck overview

Vren, the Relentless is a midrange sacrifice-value deck built around exiling opponents' creatures and converting each exile into a growing Rat army. The main path is to resolve Vren, then use edicts and targeted removal to force deaths; the end-step Rat tokens scale with the number of Rats you control and eventually close through a wide attack. Secondary plans are Exsanguinate as a mana dump and a lightweight Laboratory Maniac self-mill angle, plus Ogre Slumlord as a token generator and Bastion of Remembrance as a drain. Vren is both the engine and payoff, so there is no hidden commander in the single-faced list.
