Deck overview

This Abzan deck is commanded by Vishgraz, the Doomhive, operating as a toxic, infect, and proliferate midrange swarm engine. The primary plan establishes early poison counters across all three opponents using low-curve toxic creatures and global spells, unlocking corrupted abilities and setting up Vishgraz's deployment on turn 5. Upon entering, Vishgraz creates three toxic Mite tokens and rapidly grows into a lethal menace threat as poison accumulates across the table. In the mid-to-late game, the deck accelerates poison counters through dedicated proliferate engines like Evolution Sage, Bloated Contaminator, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, or by swarming opponents with token doublers and blink effects such as Teleportation Circle and Eerie Interlude. Supported by versatile removal and asymmetric praetor pieces like Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, the deck pressures all three opponents simultaneously, securing victory through 10 lethal poison counters by turn 8.
