Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mardu artifact reanimator and big-mana burn strategy commanded by Megatron, Tyrant // Megatron, Destructive Force. The primary game plan focuses on casting Megatron converted on Turn 4 via More Than Meets the Eye, followed by a Turn 5 attack that sacrifices a high-mana-value artifact. This deals lethal damage to an opposing creature, converts the excess damage into direct player burn, flips Megatron into its tyrant form, and generates a massive pool of colorless mana in the postcombat main phase. That colorless mana immediately deploys game-ending threats such as Portal to Phyrexia, Cityscape Leveler, or a lethal Torment of Hailfire. Redundant reanimators including Goblin Welder, Daretti, Scrap Savant, Osgir, the Reconstructor, and Sneak Attack ensure the deck can cheat costly constructs into play independently of the commander. Strong protection spells and asymmetric board wipes give the deck excellent staying power across multiplayer rotations.
