Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Simic Merfolk typal list helmed by Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca. It leverages low-cost Merfolk creatures alongside static untap enablers such as Merrow Commerce, Seedborn Muse, and Awakening to draw multiple cards every turn rotation and grow the board with +1/+1 counters. The deck's primary victory route utilizes infinite untap loops via Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal or Intruder Alarm with Deeproot Pilgrimage. Once infinite untaps and mana are achieved, Kumena draws the entire library, pumps the entire team with infinite counters, and bounces all opposing permanents using Surgespanner or Cyclonic Rift to close out the game on the spot. Robust countermagic and protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Ripples of Potential ensure the deck can safeguard its key pieces while executing its strategy.
