Deck overview

This monowhite deck is commanded by Aerith Gainsborough and centers on lifegain, +1/+1 counters, and token generation. It establishes a resilient board early using low-cost creatures like Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, and Daxos, Blessed by the Sun. As creatures enter the battlefield, life totals rise quickly, growing Aerith and drawing cards through engines like Tocasia's Welcome and The Gaffer. The deck wins around Turn 7 through alternate lifegain payoffs such as Test of Endurance and Aetherflux Reservoir, or through decisive combat finishes powered by Archangel of Thune and Akroma's Will. An extensive suite of proactive shielding spells, including Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Teferi's Protection, reliably insulates its game-winning turns from opposing interaction.
