Beorn mono bears by Urmother420

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce is the entire engine and anthem of this mono-green creature deck. The plan is to ramp into Beorn by turn three or four, attack every turn, turn one non-Bear into a Bear, and keep three Bears alive to draw two cards per combat. The deck is packed with high-power green threats that are often cheap because of Nylea, The Earth Crystal, or total board power (Ghalta), then closes with Overrun, Tyvar's X pump, or Beastmaster Ascension. There is no double-faced commander and no hidden second commander; the modal double-faced cards are role-players. The main path is straightforward combat damage, with backup tutoring/reanimation from Defense of the Heart, Nature's Rhythm, and Conduit of Worlds.
