Deck overview

This is an Izzet spell-slinger deck built to resolve high-mana-value instants and sorceries. The primary plan is to ramp into Zaffai, Thunder Conductor, then chain 5+ MV spells to create 4/4 Elementals and trigger random 10-damage burns. The secondary plan is creature beatdown with drakes, Construct tokens, and pumped Elementals, often using Surge to Victory to copy huge graveyard spells. Zaffai is the engine and occasional finisher; Zaffai and the Tempests functions as a hidden commander in the 99, letting the deck cast one spell free each turn. The deck is a mid-speed value pile without true combos; it wins through repeated big-spell triggers, token pressure, and copied burn.
