Deck overview

This Sultai deck harnesses Teval, the Balanced Scale to blend graveyard self-mill with explosive landfall ramp. The early game focuses on setting up mana acceleration and stocking the graveyard using cards like Life from the Loam, Satyr Wayfinder, and Hedron Crab. Once Teval enters on Turn 4, each attack step ramps lands from the graveyard while steadily producing 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens. The midgame transitions into compounding board advantage through powerful engines such as The Gitrog Monster, Six, Muldrotha, the Gravetide, and Conduit of Worlds. To close out games, the deck pivots into game-ending mass recursion and landfall payoffs like Splendid Reclamation, Living Death, Avenger of Zendikar, and Titania, Protector of Argoth. Evasion from Wonder and direct life-drain from Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord provide reliable avenues to overcome stalled boards and finish the table across Turns 7 and 8.
