Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Lathril, Blade of the Elves to execute a fast, resilient Elf tribal strategy. In the early game, cheap mana dorks accelerate deployment and establish a wide board presence. Lathril's combat trigger rapidly doubles this token count, enabling two primary paths to victory: tapping ten Elves to drain opponents for 10 life at a time, or pumping the team for lethal combat damage using anthem effects like Coat of Arms, Beastmaster Ascension, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader. The deck also includes an infinite mana combo using Priest of Titania and Umbral Mantle to close games abruptly. Protection spells such as Selfless Safewright and Golgari Charm safeguard your board from destruction, while mass reanimation via Patriarch's Bidding ensures quick recovery from sweepers.
