Itazura group hug by KOOPA

Format: Commander

Commander: Itazura, Lingering Wick

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a group-hug/chaos deck helmed by Itazura, Lingering Wick, whose upkeep trigger exiles the top three cards, has opponents secretly bid numbers, deals damage to the highest bidder, and lets that player cast one of the exiled spells for free while you take a card into hand. The deck leans hard into this chaos with a dense stack of damage multipliers - Fiery Emancipation, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, City on Fire, Fiendish Duo, Gratuitous Violence, Dictate of the Twin Gods, Twinflame Tyrant, and Sawhorn Nemesis - plus free-cast engines like Omniscience, One with the Multiverse, Sunbird's Invocation, Etali, Primal Storm, and Plargg and Nassari. Group-hug gifts (Tempting Contract, Pendant of Prosperity, Humble Defector, Show and Tell) feed the table while extra beginning phases from Sphinx of the Second Sun, Shadow of the Second Sun, and Paradox Haze re-trigger Itazura's upkeep. The primary win is multiplied combat damage from big dragons and demons.
