Deck overview

This mono-blue deck helmed by Kami of the Crescent Moon operates as a classic group hug and forced-draw engine. It accelerates the table by granting all players multiple extra card draws every turn using symmetrical artifacts and enchantments such as Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, and Dictate of Kruphix. Rather than locking opponents out, the deck weaponizes bloated hands through upkeep punishment like Ebony Owl Netsuke, Viseling, and Black Vise, alongside draw-based damage engines like Psychosis Crawler and Scrawling Crawler. Alternate win conditions including Triskaidekaphile, Twenty-Toed Toad, and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries provide non-combat routes to victory. However, accelerating opponents' hands gives them continuous access to answers, requiring careful timing with countermagic like Arcane Denial and Counterspell to protect your win conditions during the closing turns.
