Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy mono-black aristocrats and big-mana build commanded by Rev, Tithe Extractor. While Rev provides early combat pressure, deathtouch utility, Treasure acceleration, and card advantage, the 99 functions as a self-sufficient engine. The primary game plan converts recurring creatures like Gravecrawler and tokens into mana and cards through sacrifice outlets such as Warren Soultrader and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. Life drain pieces like Marionette Apprentice, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats steadily erode opponent life totals. In the midgame, the deck establishes board control through asymmetric attrition engines like Grave Pact and Toxic Deluge, while Opposition Agent and Dauthi Voidwalker deny opposing resources. To win, the deck scales into explosive finishes using Cabal Coffers and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx into a massive Torment of Hailfire, or executes an infinite sacrifice-and-drain loop. Dense redundancy and robust reanimation allow the deck to rebuild quickly through disruption.
