Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis strategy commander deck led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. It converts card discarding—especially land cycling and connive triggers—into direct table-wide damage and board presence. The primary game plan develops mana on curve, deploys Doctor Doom by Turn 4 to start conniving, and uses elite discard engines like Tectonic Reformation, Surly Badgersaur, and Cool but Rude to drain opposing life totals. The deck leverages top-tier reactive interaction such as Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Deadly Rollick to protect its board while disrupting opposing wins. It finishes games rapidly on Turn 6 by resolving explosive draw spells like Peer into the Abyss or cycling Dakmor Salvage repeatedly, causing massive simultaneous life loss that bypasses combat blockers entirely.
