Deck overview

This is a Bant defender tribal deck helmed by Arcades, the Strategist. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of high-toughness walls, use Arcades to let them attack as though they didn't have defender, and draw cards off each wall entering. The deck accelerates with wall-based mana dorks like Axebane Guardian and Overgrown Battlement, then leverages Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive to make most walls (power 0-1) unblockable, turning them into evasive beaters. Multiple toughness-matters enablers-Assault Formation, High Alert, Bedrock Tortoise, and Wakestone Gargoyle-provide redundancy for Arcades's combat effect. The deck wins through incremental combat damage, with The Pride of Hull Clade offering a potential burst of card draw and a large body.
