Deck overview

This mono-green deck is led by Legolas Greenleaf, combining legendary creature synergies, Elf tribal elements, and +1/+1 counter mechanics into an aggressive stompy game plan. The early turns focus on developing efficient 1- and 2-mana ramp pieces to deploy Legolas ahead of curve. As subsequent legendary creatures enter the battlefield, Legolas grows in power and uses built-in evasion against small blockers to generate steady card advantage through combat damage. The mid game expands this advantage with power-based card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond while building a wide and tall creature presence. In the late game, the deck pivots into game-ending combat steps using massive pump spells, overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede, and towering threats like Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider and Jumbo Cactuar. While the deck is vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and possesses limited stack interaction, its dense mana base, protection auras, and solid redundancy allow it to consistently threaten table-wide lethal damage by turn 8.
