Deck overview

Lightning, Army of One pilots a Boros equipment/extra-combat deck that aims to turn a single equipped hit into a repeating damage multiplier. The main plan is to tutor up a sword, suit Lightning (or any evasive beater), trigger Stagger once, then loop extra combat effects-Aggravated Assault, Helm of the Host, or Surge to Victory + Savage Beating-until all opponents die. Secondary paths are treasure/value engines (Reaver Cleaver, Poetic Ingenuity, Smothering Tithe) and big equipment (Colossus Hammer, Excalibur) for a non-infinite voltron kill. The commander is an amplifier, not the engine; the deck has no double-faced commander, and its spiritual hidden commander is Aurelia, the Warleader, though the extra-combat redundancy means no single card is indispensable.
