The ancient one by user7458240

Commander: The Ancient One

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ancient One leads a Dimir deck that grinds opponents out with discard-triggered milling. The primary plan is to activate the commander to draw and discard a high-mana-value card, while Psychic Corrosion, Mystic Redaction, Bone Miser, and Monument to Endurance turn each activation into mass mill and card advantage. Fractured Sanity, Maddening Cacophony, Tasha's Hideous Laughter, and The Mindskinner provide burst mill to end games, supported by self-mill engines that reach descend-8 for The Ancient One's attack and free hideaway casts. Syr Konrad and Dreadhound convert milled creatures into life loss, and a fragile Thassa's Oracle/Jace self-mill backdoor exists, but the main line is simply depleting three libraries.
