Deck overview

This deck is a aggressive Mardu Vampire tribal strategy commanded by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability from the command zone to generate free 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever a Vampire spell is cast, rapidly flooding the battlefield during the opening turns without spending extra cards or mana. The deck converts this wide creature swarm into decisive lethal pressure around Turn 5 using scaling combat multipliers like Shared Animosity, Sanctum Seeker, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Aristocrat elements such as Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Vein Ripper penalize opponents for attempting board wipes, while a compact two-card infinite combo between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose provides an alternate avenue to drain the entire table instantly. Robust targeted removal and flexible defensive spells like Teferi's Protection support a fast, resilient clock that closes games cleanly across Turns 5 to 7.
