Deck overview

Mono-blue Merfolk tribal helmed by Namor the Sub-Mariner, who converts every noncreature blue spell into Merfolk tokens. The deck pairs a go-wide Merfolk swarm - buffed by a deep lord package (Lord of Atlantis, Master of the Pearl Trident, Merfolk Sovereign, Merrow Reejerey, Attuma, Atlantean Warlord, Patchwork Banner, Vodalian Hexcatcher) - with a dense counterspell suite to control the stack. The primary win is combat damage from a large, lord-buffed army, with Time Warp providing an extra turn to close. The deck plays a tempo/control game: develop early Merfolk, cast Namor, then use cheap blue instants and enchantments to snowball tokens while holding up counterspells to protect the board and deny opponents' key plays.
