LotR Hobbit - Dwarf Dragon Treasure #3 by tomtom4711

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf-tribal swarm that converts every Dwarf and Equipment into Treasure-fueled pressure. The primary plan is to flood the board with Dwarf tokens, multiply those tokens into a large artifact count via Xorn and Academy Manufactor, then finish through Dain of the Ancient Halls' repeatable damage or Hellkite Tyrant's twenty-artifact upkeep trigger. Secondary paths are Equipment voltron on Thorin or Bruenor Battlehammer, and Dragon beats from Smaug, Goldspan Dragon, and Cavern-Hoard Dragon. The commander is a repeatable Treasure engine and a scalable anthem; the deck can still run if he is removed, but his ETB loop accelerates every plan. Fili the Pathfinder acts as the hidden commander: every nontoken Dwarf makes a 2/2 Dwarf, doubling both the swarm and Thorin's triggers.
