Deck overview

This Orzhov vampire deck wins by converting lifegain into opponent life loss through double-lifegain effects, blood-triggered drainers, and enchantment combos. Astarion, the Decadent acts as a finisher that doubles the damage done by a feed plan each end step, or recovers life via the friends mode, while the true engine is the lifegain-and-drain package. The deck also contains alternate win conditions in Felidar Sovereign, Halo Fountain, and Syr Konrad graveyard recursion. The build plays a midrange game with incremental life advantage, board wipes, and tutor flexibility to assemble the Sanguine Bond/Exquisite Blood loop or stax pieces. Commander dependency is moderate: the plan works without Astarion but is less focused.
