Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is an ETB-centric reanimator and token-cloning engine. While Deadpool, Trading Card sits in the command zone as a versatile disruptive tool that steals powerful creature abilities or burdens opposing commanders with an upkeep life-loss penalty, the 99 is built around devastating enter-the-battlefield triggers. The deck uses copy engines like Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, Rionya, Fire Dancer, and Blade of Selves alongside reanimation spells such as Reanimate and Victimize to repeatedly trigger game-altering creatures like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Archon of Cruelty, and Massacre Wurm. By multiplying these ETB effects and pairing them with Purphoros, God of the Forge or The Master, Multiplied, the deck rapidly drains opponent life totals and swarms the board. It operates smoothly at mid-power tables with strong recursive resilience, but relies on natural draw steps due to an absence of cheap tutors and countermagic.
