Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color tribal synergy and control engine helmed by Reaper King. It uses changeling creatures, which possess every creature type, to trigger powerful tribal payoffs from across Magic's history. Once Reaper King enters the battlefield, every subsequent changeling or blink effect acts as a permanent-destruction spell. The deck uses mass flicker spells such as Ghostway, Eerie Interlude, and Another Round to generate massive bursts of enter-the-battlefield triggers, decimating opposing boards and land bases. Meanwhile, tribal engines such as Risen Reef, Wirewood Savage, and Kindred Discovery ensure a constant flow of cards, while Morophon, the Boundless and Scion of Draco provide substantial mana cost reduction and combat buffs. Once opponents are stripped of their mana and key permanents, the deck closes the game through overwhelming combat damage with its upgraded creature suite.
