Commander: Winota, Joiner of Forces

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Winota, Joiner of Forces Boros aggro deck built around the classic "non-Human attackers flip Humans" engine. The plan is to flood the board with cheap non-Human creatures and token makers - Kitesail Scout, Bolt Hound, Ornithopter, Dragon Foddel, Raise the Alarm, Thopter Engineer - then attack to trigger Winota, who cheats Humans from the top six onto the battlefield tapped and attacking with indestructible. The Human payoff suite is anthem and finisher density: Blade Historian (double strike), Angrath's Marauders (double damage), Goldnight Commander, Captain of the Watch, Theoden, King of Rohan, and Erkenbrand, Lord of Westfold turn a wide board into a one-shot kill. Secondary elements are light stax (Vryn Wingmare), a modest removal package, and No Witnesses as a reset. The deck is all-in on Winota; without her the plan collapses.
