Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats combo strategy piloted by Gev, Scaled Scorch. The central game plan exploits Gev's static ability, which places +1/+1 counters on entering creatures whenever an opponent has lost life this turn. When a creature with persist dies, it returns with a -1/-1 counter; Gev's +1/+1 counter cancels it out entirely via state-based actions. Combining Gev with any free sacrifice outlet (such as Goblin Bombardment, Carrion Feeder, or Viscera Seer) and a persist creature (such as Putrid Goblin or Murderous Redcap) generates an infinite sacrifice loop. Payoffs like Blood Artist, Impact Tremors, and Molten Gatekeeper immediately convert these loops into lethal table-wide damage on Turn 5. Backed by cheap removal and heavy redundancy across combo pieces, the deck executes a compact, highly lethal win condition.
