Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Voltron and Saboteur strategy helmed by Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima. The game plan revolves around exploiting Jin Sakai's modal attack trigger, granting either double strike through Standoff or unblockability through Ghost whenever a creature attacks a player alone. By pairing Jin with high-impact equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Blackblade Reforged, and Buster Sword, the deck generates substantial combat damage while drawing cards each time Jin connects. A secondary suite of Ninjas like Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow and Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni capitalizes on unblocked attackers to cheat mana costs and reuse saboteur triggers. Defensive enchantments such as Propaganda and Ghostly Prison dissuade crackback attacks, while a robust package of counterspells and protective equipment shields the commander. Because victory is achieved through sequential combat damage rather than combo loops, the deck excels at steady attrition and targeted eliminations but requires careful resource management across multiplayer rotations.
