Prepared Spell Slinging by andisir

Deck overview

This deck leverages Codie, Ravenous Codex to double the impact of custom Prepare spells, transforming cheap utility creatures into devastating multi-spell turns. By utilizing mana dorks that tap for all five colors—such as Bloom Tender and Faeburrow Elder—the deck easily pays Codie's {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} activation cost. Once Codie prepares the board, casting prepared spell halves triggers Codie's copy ability, drawing massive card quantities off Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall or netting abundant mana through Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song. Untap engines like Chakram Retriever and Treasure producers like Storm-Kiln Artist convert these casts into self-sustaining loops. The deck closes games rapidly on Turn 5 through direct damage loops or massive copied casts of Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate, offering opponents zero response cycles once the storm begins.
