Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-red Treasure burn and Dragon stompy engine commanded by Smaug the Magnificent. The strategy accelerates mana production using cheap mana rocks and early Treasure enablers like Guild Artisan, Xorn, and Professional Face-Breaker. Once Smaug the Magnificent enters the battlefield, his innate haste allows immediate attacks that turn accumulated Treasure tokens into targeted direct damage. The deck amplifies this pressure by chaining additional combat steps with cards like Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Relentless Assault, and Full Throttle, doubling damage with Twinflame Tyrant, and triggering mass direct damage through Ingenious Artillerist and Reckless Fireweaver. An alternate game-winning route is provided by Hellkite Tyrant, which instantly wins the game on upkeep once the hoard reaches twenty artifacts. While the deck relies heavily on its artifact tokens and creature combat, its high redundancy and the commander's haste ensure swift recovery and lethal burst damage.
