Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Simic combo-control build centered on Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy. The primary strategy accelerates mana on Turn 1 with 1-CMC dorks, casts Kinnan on Turn 2 to double mana production, and deploys a 2-card infinite mana combo on Turn 3. The main line uses Basalt Monolith, which generates infinite colorless mana with Kinnan's static ability. Kinnan acts as the infinite mana sink, activating repeatedly to put non-Human creatures directly onto the battlefield. Secondary win lines include Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal, as well as Freed from the Real and Pemmin's Aura on colored mana producers. Games close immediately via Thassa's Oracle, a lethal Finale of Devastation, or Blue Sun's Zenith. The deck defends its execution with free and 1-CMC counterspells while slowing down opponents with asymmetric locks like Winter Orb and Back to Basics.
