Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Naya Lands and +1/+1 Counters build helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender. The strategy centers on animating lands into resilient, hasty attackers using the Earthbend mechanic. Because earthbent lands return to the battlefield tapped whenever they die or are exiled, the deck possesses built-in resilience against conventional sweepers and targeted creature removal. Early turns focus on establishing mana velocity through low-cost ramp and deployable artifacts, which Toph turns into additional lands. From there, counter doublers like Branching Evolution and The Earth Crystal rapidly scale animated lands into massive threats. The deck finishes games through explosive combat phases powered by Bumi, Unleashed, Avatar Kyoshi, Earthbender, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum, or by assembling an infinite combat loop with Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and Bumi, Unleashed.
