Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie tribal strategy led by Temmet, Naktamun's Will. It blends wide token swarms, tribal anthem buffs, and incremental aristocrat life drain. Early turns focus on mana deployment and curving out resilient Zombie threats such as Cryptbreaker, Wayward Servant, and Dreadhorde Invasion. Once Temmet enters, each combat step triggers looting that doubles as an anthem, granting the entire undead army +1/+1 for every card drawn that turn. Mid-to-late turns amplify this clock through heavy hitters like Grave Titan, Necroduality, and The Scarab God, which flood the board with bodies while Noxious Ghoul clears opposing blockers. While highly capable of overwhelming tables through combat and Gary bursts, the deck relies heavily on keeping creatures on the battlefield and remains susceptible to repeated exile-based board wipes.
