Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Dimir combat burn deck led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The game plan revolves around deploying inexpensive, unblockable 1-mana creatures on early turns and utilizing commander ninjutsu to cheat Yuriko into combat on Turn 2. When Ninjas deal combat damage, Yuriko reveals the top card of the library, putting it into hand and dealing damage equal to its mana value to every opponent simultaneously. By manipulating the top of the library with cards like Brainstorm, Lim-Dûl's Vault, and Scroll Rack, the deck reveals massive mana value spells such as Shadow of Mortality (15 mana) and Temporal Trespass (11 mana) to burn the entire table quickly. A dense package of free and low-cost interaction, including Flare of Denial, Snuff Out, and Swan Song, protects the board and interrupts opposing game plans while maintaining high pressure.
