Deck overview

This Azorius artifact deck is commanded by Mendicant Core, Guidelight, a commander whose power scales directly with artifact count and whose Max Speed ability duplicates artifact spells for just {1}. The primary strategy accelerates early with low-cost mana rocks and artifact creatures, attacking each turn to increment speed until reaching Max Speed on Turn 6. From there, the deck presents overwhelming combat lethal pressure through massive commander damage amplified by Fireshrieker, Whispersilk Cloak, and Adaptive Omnitool, or wide aerial assaults via Sai, Master Thopterist and Salvation Colossus. Supported by efficient counterspells, protective equipment like Illvoi Light Jammer, and card-flow engines like Thopter Spy Network, the deck maintains steady pressure across mid-game combat phases.
