Commander: Elenda and Azor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Elenda and Azor is the engine of this Esper "draw matters" vampire-token deck. The commander attacks, you sink mana into its X cost to draw a burst of cards, then at your end step you pay 4 life to create a Vampire Knight token for each card drawn that turn. From there the deck converts the token army into a win through combat boosts like Dictate of Heliod, drain effects like Blood Artist and Queza, Augur of Agonies, or sacrifice synergy with Ashnod's Altar and Baron Bertram Graywater. A secondary combo-ish line uses Peer into the Abyss on yourself alongside draw-doubling enchantments and Queza, Augur of Agonies to drain all opponents. Bloodline Bidding and Emeritus of Woe provide recursion and repeatable tutoring, respectively. The plan is midrange: durable card advantage, a tall flying commander, and a wide token payoff rather than a fast, fragile combo.
