Deck overview

This Orzhov Voltron deck is commanded by Killian, Ink Duelist, whose built-in menace, lifelink, and {2} cost reduction for spells targeting a creature turn high-cost Auras and removal into hyper-efficient plays. The primary game plan involves deploying Killian on Turn 2, attaching cost-reduced evasive and power-boosting Auras on Turn 3, and establishing a lethal commander-damage threat by Turn 4. Opponents are eliminated sequentially through unblockable or protected combat strikes. Targeted removal spells such as Darksteel Mutation, Anguished Unmaking, and Swords to Plowshares provide low-cost board control by taking advantage of Killian's discount. While the deck possesses explosive early-game pressure and high life totals from lifelink, its reliance on a single tall creature across multiple turn rotations leaves it vulnerable to sacrifice effects, board wipes, and multi-blocker attrition. Card replenishment is dependent on drawing key enchantresses or one-shot draw spells.
