Green part 3 by PsychoWarper

Format: Commander

Commander: Kodama of the East Tree and Gilanra, Caller of Wirewood

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This partner pairing of Kodama of the East Tree and Gilanra, Caller of Wirewood pilots a classic mono-green stompy deck focused on explosive ramp, massive +1/+1 counter synergies, and cheating enormous permanents onto the battlefield. The primary game plan is to accelerate mana via dorks and land-based effects, then deploy a critical mass of high-power creatures that generate value through card draw, trample, and counter doubling. Kodama's ability to chain permanents from hand amplifies the tempo, while Gilanra provides incidental card advantage when casting 6+ mana spells. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage, often with a game-ending Finale of Devastation for X=10+, or with Tooth and Nail fetching a pair of bomb creatures. There are no infinite combos; the path to victory is raw inevitability through size and recursion.
