Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Gruul Aggro-Midrange list commanded by Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost ramp on Turns 1 and 2 to cast Minsc & Boo on Turn 3. The commander continuously produces and buffs Boo, a legendary Hamster token with trample and haste. By Turn 4, the deck threatens double-digit trample combat damage alongside the commander's -2 loyalty ability, which sacrifices Boo to deal lethal direct damage to any target and draw cards equal to its power. The deck converts this massive card velocity into overwhelming board states using counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and All Will Be One, explosive burn from Chandra's Ignition, and an infinite combat loop with Old Gnawbone and Aggravated Assault. Efficient protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Deflecting Swat defend key pieces as the deck eliminates the table across Turns 4 through 6.
