Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger combat deck built around Fire Lord Azula. The plan is to land Azula, attack to generate firebending mana, and cast instants and sorceries during combat so her trigger copies every spell. Copied pumps, rituals, draw, and interaction snowball into lethal combat damage, table-wide burn via Giggling Skitterspike or Fated Firepower, and magecraft drains off Professor Onyx. Backup engines include Kess, Dissident Mage flashback turns, Hullbreaker Horror bounce locks, and storm turns off Crackling Spellslinger. The deck plays at instant speed with a dense counter and redirection suite, using rituals and treasures to fuel explosive combat steps rather than classic two-card infinite loops as its primary clock.
