MINE-DOOM! by LordPillowFart

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain tribal build helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, leveraging the connive mechanic (draw then discard) to generate value from discard triggers and fuel a wide board of Villain creatures. The primary plan involves deploying cost-reducers and lords like Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord and Doctor Octopus, Master Planner, then overwhelming opponents with a swarm of Villain tokens pumped by anthems. Win conditions include combat damage from a critical mass of Villains, plus incidental drain from Cool but Rude level 2 and Avengers: Under Siege. The deck also packs graveyard recursion via mayhem and a single extra-turn spell, but lacks a compact, tutorable combo. It functions as a midrange value grind that aims to outpace the table through card advantage and board presence.
