Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-red Voltron and forced-combat engine centered on Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos. The strategy focuses on accelerating out Alexios on Turn 3 using low-cost mana rocks and rituals like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and Pyretic Ritual. Once on the battlefield, Alexios passes to each opponent on their upkeep, gaining +1/+1 counters and haste while being forced to attack each combat. Because Alexios attacks four times per table rotation, it rapidly accumulates commander damage and eliminates opponents in rapid succession. The deck enhances this clock with aggressive Equipment like Hero's Blade, Lizard Blades, and The Sound of Drums, while harvesting value through combat triggers on cards like Mask of Memory and The Reaver Cleaver. Protective pieces such as Mithril Coat, Unstable Molecule Suit, and Return the Favor defend Alexios against removal, turning each player's turn into an escalating barrage of lethal trample damage.
