I'm a Wizard! by ANTHO

Format: Commander

Commander: Ral, Monsoon Mage // Ral, Leyline Prodigy

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a focused Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Ral, Monsoon Mage // Ral, Leyline Prodigy. The primary game plan is to chain cheap instants and sorceries, reduce their costs with the commander and other cost reducers, generate explosive mana via rituals (Seething Song, Pyretic Ritual, Mana Geyser), and finish with a lethal storm (Grapeshot, Mind's Desire) or a massive Comet Storm. Copy effects like Reiterate, Galvanic Iteration, and Thousand-Year Storm multiply the firepower. The commander flips into a planeswalker that further reduces costs and supplies card advantage, acting as an engine piece that accelerates the game plan without being essential to it.
