Black Wizards by TsulKalu

Format: Commander

Commander: Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kuja is a Rakdos spellslinger deck that wins by creating a crowd of 0/1 Wizard tokens and then casting noncreature spells, each of which makes every Wizard ping all opponents. The front face, Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, is the token generator; the deck is specifically built to transform into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, whose Flare Star doubles all Wizard damage. From there it stacks damage doublers and triplers such as Solphim, Twinflame Tyrant, and Fiery Emancipation, plus burn spells, until one multi-spell turn drains 40 life from each opponent. Secondary routes are direct burn and copied spells. There is no true hidden commander, but Black Market Connections and Tor Wauki the Younger act as backup engines.
