Deck overview

This is a Dimir aristocrats-attrition deck helmed by Toxrill, the Corrosive. The plan is to resolve the 7-mana commander, then let his end-step slime counters systematically shrink and kill opposing boards while minting 1/1 Slug tokens. Those tokens (and any other fodder) feed a dense death-trigger suite-Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, The Meathook Massacre, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and friends-draining the table. Sacrifice outlets convert the same bodies into cards, treasures, and scry, and a thin but real combo layer (Gravecrawler loops with Pitiless Plunderer) provides a sudden finish. Y'shtola Rhul doubles end steps to accelerate slime, and Nest of Scarabs turns every counter into Insects. Secondary paths include edict wipes, Possessed Portal locks, and reanimation via Victimize or Lich-Knights' Conquest. The deck wins by grinding value and life totals rather than a single explosive turn.
