Format: Commander

Commander: Gwenom, Remorseless

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gwenom, Remorseless is a mono-black storm deck that attacks to play the top of the library for life instead of mana. The primary plan is to attack with Gwenom, then loop Sensei's Divining Top with Bolas's Citadel or Gwenom and Aetherflux Reservoir to gain infinite life and storm for a Reservoir or Tendrils kill. Secondary paths win without combat: Chain of Smog with Professor Onyx drains the table, Peer into the Abyss with Orcish Bowmasters pings each draw, and Forsaken Miner with Susurian Voidborn and Warren Soultrader creates an infinite death drain. Bolas's Citadel acts as a hidden commander, providing the same top-play engine when Gwenom is unavailable.
