Deck overview

This Grixis deck unites creature theft aristocrats with a spellslinger burn subtheme, driven by the commander Edea, Possessed Sorceress. Edea borrows opposing creatures each combat step, untapping them with haste. By pairing Edea with sacrifice outlets like Attrition, Ashnod's Altar, or High Market, the deck sacrifices borrowed creatures before end of turn. Edea's triggered ability immediately returns the creature to its owner and draws a card, generating recurring card advantage and board control without losing resources. As the graveyard fills with instants and sorceries, the deck pivots into lethal group-slug burn using Fandaniel, Telophoroi Ascian, Black Waltz No. 3, and Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, or closes out the table with a decisive Insurrection. Supported by flexible interaction like Cyclonic Rift and Toxic Deluge, the deck presents a resilient mid-game engine capable of grinding through opposing boards.
