landfall by Don777

Format: Commander

Commander: Loot, the Key to Everything

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a landfall-centric value deck helmed by Loot, the Key to Everything, a low-cost commander that converts card-type diversity into a steady stream of exiled cards you can play each turn. The primary game plan is to ramp aggressively with extra land-drop effects and land-search spells, then use landfall triggers to grow creatures (Mossborn Hydra, Scute Swarm, Tifa Lockhart), produce token armies (Omnath, Locus of Rage, Rampaging Baloths, The Lost and the Damned), and generate card advantage (Tatyova, Benthic Druid, Tireless Tracker, Bonny Pall, Clearcutter). The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage - often from a board that can also recur lands and key pieces through Conduit of Worlds, Glacierwood Siege and the recursive capabilities of Groundskeeper and Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar. It has no infinite combos; its strength lies in its ability to flood the board and then rebuild after wipes, but it folds to stack-based interaction and lacked complex acceleration.
