Lathiel combo by user9969024

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn turns every point of life gained into a growing pile of +1/+1 counters. The deck runs a green-white creature shell that gains life on nearly every enter-the-battlefield trigger, then spreads those counters at each end step. Its fastest finish is a token combo: Scurry Oak or Herd Baloth plus Ivy Lane Denizen or Rosie Cotton creates infinite Squirrels or Beasts, usually finished by a one-turn attack or by loading Walking Ballista. Spike Feeder plus Sunbond supplies an infinite life/counter battery. Abzan Falconer makes the counter army evasive, while Shalai and cheap protection spells keep key pieces alive. Trelasarra, Moon Dancer acts as a supporting hidden engine, scrying and growing with every life gain.
