Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign to cheat high-cost, odd-mana value spells onto the battlefield straight from the top of the library. Early turns focus on mana acceleration with rocks like Arcane Signet and setting up library order using tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter. On Turn 5, Yennett attacks to deploy game-altering payoffs such as Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, or Breach the Multiverse for free. Asymmetric disruption from these payoffs suppresses opposing boards while large evasive creatures deliver combat damage over subsequent turns to close the game by Turn 8. Interaction is robust against permanents through efficient removal like Swords to Plowshares and sweeping effects like Extinction Event, though the deck lacks low-cost countermagic and instant-speed protection for its commander.
