The Devil (Strahd) from the Bible by user1921737

Format: Commander

Commander: Strefan, Maurer Progenitor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Strefan, Maurer Progenitor commands a Rakdos Vampire deck focused on Blood token generation, life drain, and cheating high-cost Vampires into play. The early game establishes passive drain through cards like Creeping Bloodsucker and Sanctum of Stone Fangs to guarantee Strefan generates Blood tokens on end steps. Strefan then sacrifices Blood to cheat out dominant threats like Olivia's Attendants, Butcher of Malakir, or Crossway Troublemakers tapped and attacking. The deck finishes games by either swarming the board with evasive beaters, draining the table via Mirkwood Bats and Reckless Fireweaver, or assembling instant wins using Bloodthirsty Conqueror or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose alongside Exquisite Blood.
