Blech, Up and Go! by user8130979

Format: Commander

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest is the engine of a Golgari life-gain and +1/+1 counters deck. The deck plans to create many Pest/Bat/Insect/Snake/Spider tokens, convert every life-gain trigger into a board-wide counter spread with Blech, then finish with an overwhelming combat step or token-drain payoffs. The hidden backup commander is Valentin, Dean of the Vein // Lisette, Dean of the Root: Valentin turns opposing creatures into Pest tokens while Lisette repeats Blech's counter/trample effect. Secondary paths use Mirkwood Bats, Starscape Cleric, Enduring Tenacity, and South Wind Avatar to convert life gain into damage. Wins usually come from a massive token wave plus Blech triggers rather than from a combo.
